The input description says: "The starting arrangement of disks will be provided to you on stdin in the form of three lines separated by newlines." In fact, all three input lines are terminated by a newline, not just the first two, as suggested in the format description.
This actually cost me a about six submittals, a half hour of debugging (I thought there were something wrong in my solution!), and a good idea about input parsing was wasted ;-)
