Just a note to let you know that for this game only, and for Perl only, Jasper and eyepopslikeamosquito are now sharing their solutions to the Saving Time game. Though they both reached the "first rank" of 101 strokes independently (and without needing to buy a TaylorMade R9 Driver) they have now decided to join forces after more than a year of playing individually. As you might have guessed, this is a desperate attempt to break the magic 100 stroke barrier.

We thought it best to alert folks to what we are up to because we feel sharing solutions between two or more golfers is not really a level playing field when competing against individual golfers -- though, of course, it is ok if competing against teams (not sure if there are any teams playing codegolf). This partnership will probably be a one off for this game only. And yes, this odd couple is now confident that the 100 stroke barrier will finally be broken. :)

I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how you guys managed to do this in 132 bytes in php. I've been looking all over my code but i can't find any ways to reduce the file size, 360 bytes just seems to be the limit for me. Would you two mind sharing your php code so i can see how you possibly did that, or to have a look at my code and give me some hints to what I'm doing wrong? I promise I won't steal your ideas, I just want to see how you guys did it...
